EXPERIMENTAL PLOTTING OF GPS POSITION FROM MODE S SQUITTER
The paper generally describes theoretical approach to the method of preparation, measuring and consequential evaluation of the position data from mode S squitter. There are two methods often used by manufacturers - CEP and SEP - to evaluate position error. These methods are quite simple but they don't provide results faithful enough to estimate error distribution. Since this reason I'm using more precise expression - 2D error ellipse or 3D ellipsoid.

A SAFE PASSAGE OF A VEHICLE THROUGH A CURVE
This paper analyses safe passage of a road vehicle through a curve respecting the forces affecting the vehicle; it also deals with the influence of selected engineering solutions applied to currently operated vehicles on the values of monitored variables, i.e. maximum permissible speed in relation to skid and limit heigh of the centre of gravity.

UTILIZATION OF THE PROGNOSTIC METHODS FOR DETERMINATION OF THE SPECIAL REQUIREMENT SET ON THE TECHNICAL OPERATOR IN THE CNS/ATC SYSTEMS
The paper deal with problems of the human factor in aeronautics from the technical operator standpoint in the CNS/ATC systems. In relation human operator - technical system is putting emphasis on the man - operator and his expert knowledge's having influence on the air traffic safeness. For determination of the structure and quantity of the human- operator special knowledge's the expert prognostic method DELPHI can be used. In the paper is introduced the methodical procedure and fundamental mathematical apparatus for statistical evaluation.

QUALITY OF RAILWAY SIGNALLING SYSTEMS FROM THE EUROPEAN STANDARS POINT OF VIEW
The objective of this paper is to show what particularities are considered in quality assessment of railway signalling systems. For railway signalling and interlocking systems the quality is typically expressed suing the attributes: safety, availability, reliability and maintainability. The paper will deal with safety as a typical attribute of railway signalling systems from the viewpoint of European standards.
